Lee and I met in December 2019 and became a couple in January 2020.

We went on our first holiday to Italy in February/March 2020, as we were in Rome we had to change our trip very swiftly to the southern parts of Italy as the northern part went into lockdown… in hindsight, we should have probably gone home, but we did not know what was about to happen to the world! Since then, we have been to Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, Sri Lanka, Cornwall, Scotland and our next adventure is a driving trip along the Rhône and the Rhine, which we will be documenting on this blog! Most of the entries will be penned by Lee, with occasional contributions from me. As the primary driver, I’ll leave the creative writing to Lee!

We both work full time, I am a teacher (post 16) and Lee works in Science (Cell Culture) Our jobs are demanding and often leave us with little mental energy for after-work activities. Travelling allows us to enrich our lives and find greater meaning in our day-to-day experiences. Join us as we share our journey and the stories we collect along the way.
